It is official. Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, has confirmed that the New Fiat 500EV will arrive on US shores. The confirmation came during a conference call discussing First Half 2022 financial results.
Quote:
"We will bring, at one point in time, the Fiat 500E to the US market, as we believe that there is also potential over there to make profitable sales in some specific states."
The New Fiat 500 E was introduced in 2020 and has become the number one selling EV in Germany and Italy and in the top three in Spain and France. Overall, the Fiat 500E ranked third in total sales in the European electric car market.
The New 500 E is sold in 38 countries throughout four different geographical areas: Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Japan. Sales of the New Fiat 500E have totaled 100,000 in the past two years, and the car has earned 30 international awards in nine countries.
