I am so disappointed that you will not release fuel economy information. There is no reason why this car should not be offered as a hybrid or all electric vehicle. The fact that you have not released any info means this will likely be another gas guzzler.

I know this is the 500 _USA_ forum, but it would be nice if some of the other Euro spec engines were included as well. For example I've been researching the 500x Lounge for purchase in Australia where for some reason the tigrshark engine isnt available as an option, and it's hard to find details on the 125Kw 1.4 turbo that is sold in place of it.

Also very off thread, I'm also a little curious why the tigershark engine is used in the US for the 500x, it generates more power at high rpm, but the 9-speed does everything it can to keep the revs low, and the better torque figures at 1500-2000 RPM the 125Kw (assuming its the same as it is on the Guilietta which I did find), then it looks like it would be a better match for the 9-speed ZF ?

Is it because of emissions (higher compression = more NO2) ? a suspicion of turbos ? ability to use standard vs premium petrol ? Cost ? Or is there somethng inherently better about the tigershark that I'm missing ?
