The research firm Strategic Vision specializes in understanding consumer decision making and is used by a variety of Fortune 100 clients. Their Total Quality Award measures the overall ownership experience, and the Fiat 500 took top honors in its class, beating the VW Golf, Mazda3, Nissan Cube and Kia Soul among others.
Total Quality Index score is ranked by customers and is based on the following:
- Satisfaction with the complete ownership experience
- Perception of quality
- Owner reported delight
- Future purchase intent
- Emotional attachment to vehicle
