Where is the 4 wheel drive option?!?!?
21 PSI of boost is surprising, almost no cars with a turbo engine run that kind of boost stock.
Puts the Abarth to shame with its 17ftlbs more of tq
4wd is for the Panda, not the 500L, why, who knows..
Looks like the Mini Countryman All4 still takes the cake
The chassis is capable, but currently it seems 4x4 will be reserved for the Fiat 500x coming out in the 2014 model year.
The Fiat 500L is given more torque because the c635 transmission has a higher torque capacity than the
c510 transmission in the Fiat 500 Abarth.
Can the 2014 flattow and is the base plate the same as the 2013?
I just talked to Blue Ox on the 500L. They are working on a flat tow kit for the 500L but it is not out yet. But, the good news is any manual Fiat 500 or 500L can be flat towed. It's about $1600 complete for the 500 2 door. We have done several 500's. You don't need trailer brakes on the 500 because it weighs less than 3000 lb. But you do need the light kit for tail lights. -John Montgomery, www.bensonfiat.com
