Fiat USA reports that 500 Fiat 500s have been delivered last month. The Fiat 500 went on sale in mid-March, via 30 Fiat Studios scattered across the country.
This is the first time sales figures have been posted since 1984, the year Fiat last sold cars in the US.
The amount reported technically aren't sales, but actual delivered cars and include some, but not all of the Prima Edizione cars. The Fiat 500 Prima Edizione are special, first edition cars that were offered for sale to Fiat enthusiasts last summer.
The remaining Prima Edizione cars will be delivered during this month. There have been some delays delivering these exclusive cars in certain parts of the country, attributed mainly to dealers waiting on their state licenses.
130 Fiat Studios are expected to open by the end of summer.

Not bad for only a couple of weeks being open for business!
NYS still waiting on licenses, car was delivered to dealer last week. Ugh!
Hi Chris, will the sales figures rise in the next few months as the Fiat Studios become ready for business? Take care.
Good to see Fiat doing well. Can't wait to get that Maserati SUV with the Ferrari engine.
I don't know how they sell cars in Italy but in the USA, we go to the websites, look at financing offers, leasing offers, etc. If Fiat wants to boost sales and be competitive, they better come with a good lease plan, like the Mini. I am about to get into a new lease. I will not get into a dealership without having everything coordinated first. Therefore, I will have to go with Mini Cooper, which has their lease offer online. I know a lot of people do it this way too. We just don't trust car salesmen, in this country at least.
You really want to sell Fiats. Then sell them like they are hot! You are the only company in the US that I am aware of that do not have web leasing offers. Get on the game or go back home.
Awaiting the Maserati SUV also.I already have the Grand Tourismo
I'm european, and I would like to see in the european webs the prices online easily, like in the US webs.
