New Fiat 500 USA Forum

In the interest of making it easier for you to communicate with each other and to help me keep up and answer your questions, I've just implemented a forum on one of my pages here.

It's a mini forum so there's a limitation of what size pictures you can upload to it. But it offers real time posting, so you don't have to wait for me to hit the publish button on my break at work.

This beta forum will evolve into a full-size forum, soon. In the meantime, post away and have fun!

You can access the forum on my left sidebar under "Pages".

  2. Is it surprising to anyone else how few people (Americans) have an appreciation for the Fiat company and it's place in world trade and automotive engineering? It feels to me that we in the US are on the brink of a new era in sophisticated economical transportation. I'm curious how Fiat has seemed to have produced so many fantastic developments - is it exceptional management or a gifted mechanical engineer? Any inside information or theories?

  3. (OK - cannot resist the stupid pun.) Shouldn't you only use a "mini" forum on a Cooper site? Lets stay pure for the 500 here!

Hmm, I don't think that went through. I would try it again.

I think it is a tradition of design and an interest in humanity that pervades the Italian culture. Beauty and engineering surrounds you in Italy. The longing to create and build. I've only briefly touched on some of the innovation Fiat has brought to the automotive world, there is much more.

Fiat's montra is "People first, the cars". You can read about the company here:
