Fiat 500 Configurator and Prices

Earlier this morning, Fiat updated the Fiat USA website with a cool build your own configurator listing the price of each model. Each car is very well equipped with A/C, power door locks and windows, heated mirrors, AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with 6 speakers, 7 air bags and a lot, lot more.

I'll have more about the equipment of each car in a later post. In the meantime, go to the Fiat 500 configurator and have fun!

This is awesome, I feel like I've been waiting forever. :) I can't wait to see what are the differences between the Pop, Sport and Lounge other than pricing.

Mmmm, I wonder if you will be able to mix and match more after a bit...I would like the Lounge version, but the sport seats in brown, with the brown wrapped steering wheel of the sport also.

I like the light inside of the lounge more and the glass roof (but not the sun roof)...the light color and glass roof will help make the inside seem bigger, which is a plus for a small car. But the brown steering wheel and such will keep the front dash from looking a bit too kiddy.

Not sure I will be able to get all that, but I imagine more options opening up...and I want that 5 decal for the front hood...the 5 in a cirle off-set.

The configurator is nice BUT what about the Prima Edizione? Any news on what it will be like?

Exciting Day for us FIAT lovers!

Any word on details on the Prima? I'd love to have it be a 'sport' model with leather, but maybe I'm dreaming...

Keep up the good work, it's gonna be a fun few months

It looks like the sport model is not available with a white interior and the lounge is not available with the 16" aluminum wheels, two features that I absolutely have to have... Not what do I do?....

Any word on the price of the prima edizione first 500....is it a sport model or a pop with the 16" wheels?

No EPA fuel consumption estimates yet. hmmm.
Is the new automatic a slushbox, or dual clutch?

I spoke at length last night with Joel a young man that works directly for Laura Soave. Once I showed him I was the expectant owner of #241 he spent about 15 min going over the Mocha Latte Sport on display. BTW it is my favorite color. Joel told me that all of the Primia Edizione cars will be the Sport model as a base. The badging and VIN numbers will be special to the car run and unique. All the cars will have the side stripe as pictured but it is NOT painted on and is removable by the dealer at the time of delivery if you choose to have it removed. The rest of the options will be up to the individual owner/buyer.

It was one cool event last night and Chris I have some more very cool photos I can share including for SF Giants Fans a shot of Brian "Fear the Beard" Wilson. He showed up at about 9:30. The last time the Giants won the World Series I was two months old.

This has been a good year so far.....Dave

$19500 for the Prima seems a bit expensive compared to the same thing which is a 500 sport with a side stripe & convenience pack at $18549 plus delivery. Surely delivery is not over $951

They are taking liberties already with the pricing compared to European prices. Bad start FIAT

Terribly disappointed with the Prima Edizione styling. Canceled my reservation this morning, so #228 is now available.

I could live with the ugly stripe, but not the black roof or the monochrome Sport interior. I want the Fiat 500 for the Italian retro-funky style (white interior!) and the Sport it is based on has none of that! The Prima Edizione should have been the Lounge with a manual trans, not a Sport with a good sound system and some badges.

the price is $19,500 including destination
sunroof is $850 and engine heater is $50
this is from the official email i got from Fiat
"we are looking fo deliver the Fiat 500 Prima Edizione in the first quarter of 2011"

I received my e-mail note that says the Prima Edizione will be $19,500 (MSRP) for the Sport model with a black stripe, special emblem, and floor mats. Sunroof will be an extra $850. It seems the loyalists who bought this car are being a little taken advantage of. We should be rewarded for taking a leap of faith and being a mobile billboard for FIAT. The price should be more like $17000 as a token of appreciation. Will the dealers sell it at the MSRP or they going to add a premium on top of that?

That seems like a very good warranty program. I think that is an important ingredient in impressing North Americans. I am curious to see the safety equipment. The Koreans are offering such things as electronic stability control, and active headrests as standard equipment, so I hope they are available (at least as options) as well. Seven air bags are great.

Has anyone noticed the difference of the red colors of the 500 at the top of this blog and the color of the prima edition? In the 500 configurator the red colors are not the same as the one shown above.

Got my Prima card yesterday -- $19.5 for the lounge + sunroof. Red: wish I could could try other colors but that's ok. But I really hope I can change the interior -- it's grey, which seems really meh to me.

Hello Chris. Here is dome info from Canada. The Canadian website is up and running. The good news is we have not been fleeced by exchange rates. The Pop is $15,959, the Sport $18,500, and the Lounge is $19,500, here in Canada. These prices compare favourably to those in the States. Believe me, it is not always that way. The Canadian FIAT website has a fair bit of info. All models have Stability Control, active headrests and tire pressure monitors. The manual transmission models get a hill holder mechanism. Check it out at www.fiatcanada.com We also have our dealer list there and a toll free info line. On November 23rd we can go to www500ca-uat.momentum.com to order our alotment of Prima Edizione cars. The line opens at 00:01 Eastern time and is open for 24 hours. Magnifico, eh?

Well apparently the seats can be swapped out by the dealer, or so I read. They implied it was for trade-ins -- I know I'm making a big deal about this but I really want the white interior and I "could" take delivery w/ gray, but seems silly if I don't have to.
